I really liked the approach where the keyboard is divided between two screens. We can make a reference to Nintendo Switch’s controller. The user can detach the controllers and play with both hands, with no need to use a controller adapter.

I couldn’t agree more, just got the duo and Google’d how to split the keyboard in this mode and your article popped up. Microsoft please add this feature!!

I think that the most reasonable solution would be the split keyboard. Just look at how it works on the iPad ever since iOS 5. Although it takes some getting used to, the split is pretty convenient.
