Need content to enhance your prototype, presentation, mockup, website or video? This is a collection of all the websites and services where you can find free photography, stock video, icons, illustrations, animations and more…

Everyone has their own workflows for creating. Whatever your favourite tools for crafting prototypes, presentations, videos, websites and other designs, every workflow benefits from easy access to high quality content. To help you realise your ideas faster, this list offers a collection of resources where you can find high quality icons, illustrations, photography, video, animations and more.

Unsplash.com

Free high quality photography available for commercial use. Unsplash differentiated their platform on curation, limiting the number of photos that could be added to maintain quality. This has seen them integrated widely with everyone from Medium to Trello, which is both a blessing of endorsement and curse of ubiquity. Unsplash was not the first service to offer free stock images, but their approach to curation has made them a go to source for quality stock photos.

What are your thoughts?

Useful article. Oddly, I didn’t have a “save to reading list” icon when I first read it.
I don’t see Wikimedia Commons listed here. I thought those images were public domain. Also, there are a great many historical pictures from the National Archives…
