Realistically, it won’t be long before interaction design and mock-ups are handled by generative AI. A lot of basic coding will likely be handled by gen AI soon as well. There will be even less reason to know basic coding. And learning how to…

As a designer who codes, I agree with this article. This depends on how you learn how to code. I also learned code after a deep study in design. As long as you know how they can function with your design, it's truly a superpower for communication and intent. You just have to fail your way in to improve from the curves.

I absolutely agree. Eighty percent of the work comes down to communication. I believe this would also be valuable advice for developers.
