User interface as a character

Lineup of a person in different clothes. The character needs to fit his universe, your product needs to fit the brand.
If the app that I use to pay my taxes were a person it would be someone rather unpleasant.

The interface as a guide

Your user interface has to be a guide that would lead the user through a process.
This is a drawing of the famous poet Virgil wearing a Dr. Seuss hat. It would be an important inconsistency.

Awesome story! I do the same thing when designing products for the exact same reasons. The power of story holds true when designing interfaces and crafting experiences for others.
