I can't find a single cited experiment (let alone a peer-reviewed, randomized controlled trial) that backs up BR's claims. All I find on their web site are very hand-waving theoretical claims and some individual testimonials. I actually found the…

What a beneficial read! My mind just skimmed along the highlighted font! It truly is like walking on a moving sidewalk!

What this could be is the pop-out effect. We are seeing something we are not used to seeing so we fixate on it. Brains do that, they have a tendency of ignoring things they are used to seeing.
This might be the reason out attentiuon is drawn and if so over time the effect could wear-off.
