Mind maps; how I boosted productivity and took learning quality to new a level
Our time is the most precious asset we have. Therefore, we must use it in a way to maximize it.

Some years ago, I got myself reflecting on my productivity; there was a question disturbing me a lot, “Am I spending my time efficiently, or am I wasting it?”. I felt I was not smartly using my time. To be honest, I was wasting it, that scared me quite a lot. So, I started asking myself, why do I feel like that, and How can I change to do it better? I defined a set of questions to answer.
- How can I organize my ideas in a productive and useful way?
- How can I plan anything faster and easier?
- How can I optimize the way I learn?
- How can I have the big picture of anything more natural?
- How can I take notes in a simple way and standard way?
- How can I connect the dots?
In general, I was taking notes in a mixed way, sometimes on the phone, sometimes in a notebook; sometimes, I was using Excel sheets and so on. The truth was, I had no standard, and my notes were a big mess, I could not rely on them or even find them when I needed. It was clear that I had to change!
I researched a lot of tools, techniques, and approaches. Then, I found my answer, the use of Mind Maps. So I started experimenting with it, I have to say, for me, it was a real Game Changer because with mind map I could answer all of my questions.
What is a mind map?

There is also the technical definition available on Wikipedia.
