Rapid UX research framework
Rapid research is about creating an agile and lean work frame that helps to discover as much insights as possible in a short period of time.

Discovery in UX projects is an important part of the design process and is the starting point for the team to kick off a new project. This article will explain some research techniques you can apply on any discovery phase.
The Product Design team was asked to complete a two weeks research sprint to investigate a new concept for a new feature for our Banking Services: Withdraw Cash Money without a Card.
The challenge was to emphasise and understand the needs of a target group within only two weeks. This constrain made us create an agile and lean framework to discover as many insights as possible in a short period of time.
The team was formed by four people, three researchers and one project manager.
The mission was to present the discoveries to the stakeholders by the end of this two weeks sprint.
By the end of the research, two more things would be evaluated by two different teams:
1- the marketing team would evaluate the possible revenue of this new concept and
2- the technology team would evaluate the feasibility of the project and the time needed to develop an MVP for this project.
Understand the Problem
The product: Traditional Banking App
All banks have iOS and Android apps to support the online services, all of the apps pretty similar. Online banks such as Revolut or N26 are doing a great job modernising the traditional banking, so traditional banks are trying to improve their digital experiences by offering new services to improve their retention rates and engage new customers.
Hypothesis
Traditionally users needed a physical card to get cash money from an ATM machine. We have the hypothesis that clients would value the possibility of withdraw cash from an ATM in as little interactions as possible, without using a debit/credit card or smartphone so they can be more independent.
