Love the idea behind this. I think levity and humour can really enhance the UX experience, especially when the product has inherent risk or serious repercussions. If the product is being lighthearted, you’re almost giving the user permission to do so as well. Great read, thanks!

I think it’s worth pointing out that making UIs “fun” can be a double-edged sword. Your funny pun or “delightful” animation could end up celebrating a fund transfer used for paying for hopsital bills or someone’s funeral…
