Simplest, dumbest reason your meetings suck
This is one you can fix all by yourself — no need to schedule more meetings to make bad meetings more tolerable.

UX (User Experience) Writing is the mastery of streamlining one’s mind through the digital field of information, from point A to point B, in the path of least resistance. It has more in common with GPS systems than creative writing. As a UX Writer, I am not trained to sell — unless by transparency and honesty in how I say things.
The point is, I couldn’t sell you a slice of free cheese (let alone some psychology BS). And if I did have a free slice, I’d probably eat it.
While the title of this article might sound clickbaity, rest assured, I’m not selling you anything. I just call it like it is. I truly believe the reason you’re unhappy with “crappy” meetings as a UX professional is simple and fixable. But brace yourself — the truth is a little harsh.
The pleasant thing is that the solution isn’t to schedule more meetings. That’s not how I want to work. We need to make the most of the ones we already have.
In the article, I’m talking about remote meetings — as they suck the most.
