Funny though, we were never limited on desktop by 2 dimensions. Movies and games always used the Z axis access. Somehow, collectively in UX, 3D got maligned as Skeumorophism. But we need three dimensions to tame complexity. We can…

AR and VR are still taking their first steps by reproducing computers, phones, and the real world, but a virtual world should have a unique vibe and unique ways to be interacted with.
