This article explores the opportunities which audio interactions provide as discreet and delightful content assets enhancing the user’s experience.

Embedded in digital content, such audio features can render a carefully curated and artistic ambience which is unique and collaborative, not like streaming sound from ubiquitous apps.

The UI default state = sound off

Sound needs to be off when users browse a site.

This user flow shows the simplest of user interaction, click-on/click-off.

Users need to be in control of audio engagement. Users choose to click on a sound UI button. The delightful audio discovery is up to them.

Users want to decide whether to engage with audio or not. They want to be in control.
