To get users back to the table, I have heard, — bring the users in for regular usability testing, invite members of the team to the session, provide a short highlights from the session to the decision makers.

Somehow when it comes to the final decisions the business or technological goals seem to overpower either the personal or professional goals of the persona.

This is true for some organizations. Maybe the solution lies on how these personas are communicated in the company and how they are used after their creation…
