UX bootcamps, degree or self study: what should you choose?

For this story, I talked to people who have completed courses, bootcamps, and those who hold a bachelors and masters degree in design. I also collected various queries people post in Facebook groups to seek answers from experienced designers.

Bootcamps are a popular, quicker and trendy ways to enter the field of UX. There are lot of young people who are spending their time and resources, in bootcamps to get hands-on experience in the field, but there are still some, who feel a degree can get you long way down in future. While we also see many amazing designers who have neither an experience of attending a bootcamp, nor do they flaunt a degree — they are the self-taught ones!

First, let’s try to understand about the responsibility you have, as a UX Designer.

UX Design is one of the few fields which are still greatly untapped, people are transitioning into, it has seen a tremendous growth in past few years, and it is one of those career options where absolutely anyone can enter!
