UXer’s guide to the acronym galaxy
AOV, LOE, KPI, NPS and other metrics every UXer needs to know.
In case this is useful for any other UXer out there, I wanted to share this list I compiled for myself- it’s been a handy reminder as someone who works in UX in a very large organization. An extra perk I’ve found is that learning these acronyms not only helps when communicating to stakeholders within organizations, but they help to better understand a broader landscape of business, product management and UX on a larger scale.
I’ve kept these in my back pocket, so that I can be more informed when requests come my way for LOE and SOW of new projects, I can speak in the next QBR and promote the ROI of investing in UXR, and I can make sure my NPS and CES metrics are shared appropriately YTD, and that I can inform the next MVP ready to launch by Q4 … 😅
