I love weird! It's very subjective anyway - it depends what culture you are operating in, whether that be national, organisational or do do with an interest or hobby.

Sadly, in many corporations being weird, asking the difficult questions, offering disruptive ideas or taking the road less travelled most certainly won't get you promoted. It may even wreck your career. I guess it's important to quickly work out which way the wind blows at the organisation you are in.
